The Helpmann Awards

Mr. Rush is up for the 2011 Helpmann Awards, the ceremony to be held at the Sydney Opera House on August 1, 2011. Mr. Rush has been nominated Best Male Actor in a Play, while The Diary of a Madman and director Neil Armfield are up for Best Play and Best Direction of a Play, respectively. Mr. Rush’s The Diary of a Madman co-star, Yael Stone is also nominated for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play.
