“Theatre as an art form in the western world is 2,400 years old. I like that history about it. And, as an actor, you ultimately get to own the work, even though are other positions of design, lighting and staging. You get to act your way through the night’s journey, according to the give and take of the response of an audience. It’s very exciting [in theatre] at the moment: there are lot of very bright people in their twenties and early thirties who have an absolute passion for theatre.”
